Greg W is getting close to finishing off his wings & I'm making some (slow) progress on my fuse....

As always Greg has included a few of his own modifications to strengthen & improve on the original design!

Progress on the fuse (finally)

After days of procrastination the fuse is actually coming together!

I have the photos to prove it!

Better pull my finger out...

Whilst I've had a few nights off from building Greg G has been powering ahead with his PnP!

Welcome back Greg G!

After a small break Greg G is back on the horse & made some good progress on the wing centre section this weekend.....

He sent me the photo below to prove it!

Looking forward to more photos from both the Gregs in the coming days.

All the latest...

Just a quick update because it's been a big weekend!

The leading edge is now on & sanded to shape.

The ailerons are hinged & the servos, linkages & horns are all trial fitted & tested.

Time to get serious with the fuselage now!

We're on a roll now...

I completed the sheeting on the top of the wing last night which just leaves the leading edge & hingeing the ailerons. (Forgot to take a photo)! Doh!

Greg W sent me this picture indicating that he's powering ahead & also altering the build order slightly which I think will improve the quality of the various joins between the three sections that make up the complete wing.

He's also been hard at work on the fuselage & is smashing the competition judging by these awesome shots that he sent me through this morning! (Love the look of the OS 4-stroke)!

The extent of my work on the fuselage currently is this!

Wing update

The wing is starting to take its final shape & sort of fits on the workbench!

You may be able to see the strings in place to enable the aileron servo cables to be pulled through & all that's left to do is hinge the ailerons, sheet back to the main spar & then add & shape the leading edge. (Of course it still needs to be covered but that's a whole other story)!

Hopefully the sheeting will be done tonight along with a start on the fuselage....

Now we're getting somewhere

The aileron's are finished & at last there is a wing attached to the centre section!

As you can see Eddie is doing all he can to assist in the building process!

I did also glue the other wing last night but forgot to take a photo.....stay tuned.

Lots more wing work

Finally completed the centre section & the left hand wing is getting close too.

Just a trial fit for now but everything's looking good!

Looking forward to finishing the wing & getting onto the fuselage!

Not sure if the wing will fit in my workshop once I join all the sections together!

Should be more work tomorrow night.....
